Sponsorship terms
BrandMyGuitar is operated by Kingston, an individual based in Chennai, India. These terms apply to offers, payments, and each 30-day sponsorship edition.
Offers and approval
Offers are non-binding until a brand is selected as a winner and completes payment. Offers must use whole US dollar amounts and meet the displayed minimum. Every new public leader must exceed the current approved leader by at least $10. Ties favor the earliest submitted offer.
Kingston reviews new brands and logos before publication. Pending and rejected submissions stay private. Approval does not guarantee that an offer will still lead when review finishes. One brand may lead or win only one spot in an edition.
Timing and winner selection
All six spots begin with the same published 24-hour window. A valid offer in a spot’s final five minutes extends that spot by five minutes. Extensions continue until five uninterrupted minutes pass. The highest approved offer at close becomes the provisional winner.
A provisional winner has 24 hours to complete the exact one-time payment requested by email. If payment does not arrive, the next approved brand may receive its own 24-hour opportunity at its original offer. A spot may reopen when there are no approved offers or no remaining eligible brands.
What the sponsorship includes
A paid sponsorship includes one physical logo placement on Kingston’s guitar and a linked placement on BrandMyGuitar.lol for one synchronized 30-day edition. All six placements rotate together. Final physical sizing and positioning may follow the guitar’s contours while staying faithful to the selected spot.
The sponsorship does not guarantee impressions, appearances, sales, leads, media coverage, or any other result. Planned appearances may change due to circumstances outside Kingston’s reasonable control.
Logo licence and content
The sponsor grants Kingston a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to reproduce, resize, print, display, photograph, film, and link the submitted brand name and logo for review, production, campaign records, the paid edition, and truthful documentation of the guitar.
Submissions must not infringe another party’s rights or promote illegal activity, hate, harassment, explicit sexual content, deceptive products, weapons, or content unsuitable for a general audience. Kingston may reject or remove a sponsor when necessary to protect the guitar, an event, the audience, legal compliance, or BrandMyGuitar’s reputation.
Payments and refunds
Kingston contacts the selected winner directly with the amount, deadline, and next steps. A placement is confirmed only after Kingston verifies the agreed payment.
Payments are normally final after sticker production begins. If Kingston cancels an edition before it starts or cannot provide the placement for a substantial part of the term, Kingston may offer a replacement edition or a fair full or partial refund. Removal caused by a sponsor’s breach is not refundable. Any legally required refund rights still apply.
Changes and contact
Material changes to a published offer round will be shown on the site and, where relevant, shared directly with participants. Questions or legal notices may be sent through the contact address published with the live campaign.
