Privacy

Kingston operates BrandMyGuitar from Chennai, India. This notice explains what information the campaign collects, why it is used, and what becomes public.

Information you provide

When you make an offer, BrandMyGuitar collects your brand name, work email, website, optional social handle, logo, selected spot, offer amount, review status, timestamps, and related payment records. Administrative records may also include review notes and support messages.

What becomes public

After approval, your brand name, logo, website, offer amount, spot, timestamp, and leader or outbid status become public and may remain in historical edition records. Your email address, pending logo, rejected submission, payment details, and private review notes are not published.

How information is used

Information is used to review brands, run the offer round, prevent duplicate or conflicting leaders, select winners, collect payment, produce and place stickers, send campaign updates, keep accurate records, handle support and refunds, protect the service, and meet legal obligations.

Services involved

Supabase stores campaign data, account records, and logos. Vercel hosts the website and processes operational data. Vemetric measures visits and interactions so Kingston can understand how people use the website. Any payment service agreed directly with a winner processes payment information under its own privacy terms. These providers may process information in countries outside yours using their applicable safeguards.

Retention and deletion

Pending or rejected submissions are retained only as long as reasonably needed for review, security, dispute handling, and legal compliance. Paid sponsorship and transaction records may be kept for tax, accounting, and historical accuracy. Public edition history may retain approved brand information and paid amounts. Where deletion would make a historical record misleading, the record may be anonymized instead.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete eligible personal information, or object to non-essential use. Requests should come from the email used for the offer and may require identity confirmation. Legal, fraud-prevention, accounting, or dispute records may be retained where required.

Security and contact

BrandMyGuitar uses access controls, private storage for unapproved logos, restricted administration, and payment confirmation from the receiving account. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Privacy questions and deletion requests may be sent through the contact address published with the live campaign.
